Accessing nature with children is an easy ride!
Rides May 21 and 22 in Carpinteria and Goleta
Families with kids are invited on a neighborhood ride to a special outdoor spot with guided nature activities. Each ride will be led by a certified biking instructor from the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition and Coalition for Sustainable Transportation SBBIKE+COAST and will include a nature destination (park, beach, preserve, etc.) where families will be led in activities by staff from Wilderness Youth Project (WYP).
Would you like to bring a family member or friend who is not able to ride a bicycle?
We have seats available for people who can’t ride a bike, but would like to join the ride as a passenger in a trishaw piloted by a professional rider. Trishaws have a bench seat for two guests or accommodation for one wheelchair. For example, you could bring a parent who doesn’t know how to ride a bike, grandparents, or someone who uses a wheelchair. Call (805) 963-7283 for details.
