Kerrilee Gore turns off the lights and turns on the unexpected in “When The Lights Go Out”
What happens inside our dreams, between the sheets, and in the secrets that we keep? “When The Lights Go Out” is an immersive theatrical show that explores just that – allowing you to indulge in your deepest secrets, fears, and desires. With elements of cabaret and acrobatics, the show makes its long-anticipated return to the region, taking up limited residency at the brand new Wonderhouse in Ventura, CA. The show explores the space we inhabit on the edge of being awake and asleep, where reality and fantasy blend. Set at the “Broken Dreams Motel” inside the broken mind of an electrician, characters awake inside his head when the lights go out. Come and create your own make-believe.
Kerrilee Gore (wife of Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore) is the Writer, Creative Director, and Executive Producer of this one-of-a-kind experiential show, which is filled with an abundance of world-class performers. Gore teamed up with dance industry giants Jason and Valeree Young of 8 & 1 Creative, former dancers and supervising choreographers for artists including Madonna, Britney Spears, Ricki Martin, and Carrie Underwood, to direct, choreograph, and produce the show, alongside Creative Producer Greg Curtis of The Lumurians, of Le Reve Cirque and The Aerial Studio in Ventura. The cast features some of the best entertainers in the industry.
This show breaks the mold of live entertainment and transports you into a rock and roll sexy-dark-dreams world. Get your tickets before the lights go out. Performances April 14, 15, 21, 22 and 29. https://whenthelightsgooutshow.com
