Jessie Payo @ Lost Chord Guitars on March 12

California-based singer songwriter Jessie Payo will be performing at Lost Chord Guitars in Solvang on March 12.

Jessie Payo is a Denver born but California raised singer/writer/performer who cut her teeth in the Los Angeles blues scene with her band Jessie and the Raindogs with her father. She went on to Berklee College of Music and picked up songwriting. Returning to LA she performed, toured and opened for acts such as Etta James, Lauryn Hill, Dr. John, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Sly and the Family Stone, Tuxedo and Eric Hutchinson. She cut her first solo EP at Nashville’s Starstruck Studios where she discovered her love for Americana. Her song “Dance Real Close” was featured in Netflix’s The Last Laugh where she starred as herself. You can also hear her in Peanut Butter Falcon singing with Parker Ainsworth’s “Running For So Long (House a Home)”.
