Consuelo (Connie) Venegas Vargas

Consuelo (Connie) Venegas Vargas 81 of Ventura, California , passed away on January 21 2022 in Ventura on California. Connie was born in Morelia Michoacán Mexico to Maria (Mary) and Salvador Vargas on May 16 1940. She went to school in Mexico but did go High school on Santa Barbara. She enjoy cooking and traveling. She worked for Santa Barbara County Health Services for 15 years. She was a devout catholic. She was a lecturer for Spanish mass on Sundays. She was also devoted to the Spanish cursillo ministry for years.

Connie is survived by her brother Salvador (Sal) Vargas Jr. , sister Patricia (Pat) brother in-law Robert (Bob) Romero and sister in-law Guadalupe (Lupe) Vargas and many nephews, nieces, godchildren and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Salvador Vargas. Sister Lily Vargas, brothers Alfonso and Carlos Vargas also infant baby Elizabeth Martin Del Campos. In lieu of flowers memorial donation to Catholic social services or the cursillo ministry. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to friends and The Palms memory care staff. We will love and never forget you until we meet again. Rest In Peace.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held Tuesday evening February 8, 2022 from 4 to 8 pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday February 9, 2022 at 10am in Mission Basilica San Buenaventura, Main Street Ventura. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Santa Barbara.
