Ninfa A. Chard

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and adored sibling. A gentle soul filled with compassion, tenderness, benevolence, radiance, with a touch of delightful and subtle humor.

She loved spending time with her family, whether it was dancing with her late husband in the moonlight, cherishing family activities, gardening, reading, crocheting, or just being a curious observer on a long scenic ride.

Ninfa was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Chard, sister Sarah Perez, and brother-in-law Ernie Ramirez. She is survived by her siblings; Paulette Ramirez, Jesse Cantu (Jeanie), Mary Meadows (Ron), George Cantu (Lola), Augie Cantu, Steve Cantu, Richard Cantu (Becky), Helen Cantu, and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ninfa and her late husband Art had three children; Jack Chard (Kathy), Jim Chard (Dani), and Jenell Figueroa. Many happy moments were spent with her grandchildren; Justin, Tyler, Kaylie (Tyler), Coleton (Gaby), Taylor Rae, Jessica, Jeylah, and her great-grandchildren Taj, River, and June.

May mom find and take dad’s hand from above and fly with the doves in heaven on her path to God’s magnificent eternity.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, 10:00 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 5444 Hollister Ave, Santa Barbara, CA 93111.
