Producing a Digital Magazine
SBCC School of Extended Learning, Career Skills Institute
Focus on basic techniques of formatting a magazine cover and interior master pages for print or digital platforms. Guidance on tools are given while applying skills to a real-time project.
You may elect to take this course independent of a Career Skills Institute digital badge or apply it to the Digital Printing: Newsletters & Magazines Basics Certificate. The Digital Printing Certificate prepares students for entry-level graphic design work in print and online media and also provides a basis for expanded course work and career laddering.
To obtain the Digital Printing Certificate, participants must complete a total of two required courses:

(1) Producing a Digital Newsletter
(2) Producing a Digital Magazine
Producing a Digital Magazine takes place on Wednesdays, July 28 & August 4. Classes will be held 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
