The Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society is pleased to feature “Getting Started in Your Irish Research” presented by David Ryan.
“Irish research has a reputation for being difficult. It can seem particularly daunting when you are starting your research from scratch. But is it truly impossible? Or is there a potential way around some of those frustrating brick walls? This webinar will examine some of the common problems often encountered when starting our Irish research and solutions to help you locate those elusive Irish ancestors.”

He holds an MA in Medieval History and a Diploma in Genealogy. He currently works as an Assistant Genealogist with Ancestry ProGenealogists.
