Genoveva Ramirez-Gonzales

Genoveva Ramirez (86) passed away after a brief illness in Oxnard, CA on November 9th, 2020. Born on January 3rd, 1934 in San Nicolas de Ibarra Jalisco Mexico; was one of nine siblings born to Juan and Guadalupe Gonzales. She was a lifelong homemaker who spent her time residing between Santa Barbara, Oxnard and Mexico. Though life was never easy, she lived a full and meaningful life; helping raise numerous grandchildren through the years. Preceded in death by her husband Manuel Ramirez, son Carlos and parents Juan and Guadalupe Gonzales; Genoveva also leaves behind sons: Jose, Angel, Gustavo, Leobardo, Enrique, Juan Manuel; daughters: Josephina Ramirez-Cuevas, Martha Pithawala; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and supporting staff at St John’s Hospital in Oxnard, and the entire staff at Glenwood Care Center in Oxnard.

Funeral services were held Monday November 30th, 2020 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Santa Barbara.
