Toys in the SanD Band will be performing a LIVE Concert Event at The Base in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone
Toys in the SanD band consists of lead vocalist Sandy Toye; Bassist and Musical Director Andrew James of the Linkin Park Tribute band In The End; Drummer Blake Paulson who performs and records with Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato; and Guitarist Chris Vazquez, co-founder of Sound Life Lessons and guitarist for Air Supply, Lou Gramm of Foreigner and Terri Nunn of Berlin. Together, they make up a professional sounding pop-style band with heart and soul that has a solid and enticing beat with meaningful lyrics. All music is composed and performed in 432 tunings which has been known to leave listeners in an elevated mental state. The calculations of sound waves tuned to 432, as opposed to Western music which is turned to 440, are aligned with the calculations of both time (the 12 and 60 count system) and space (diameter in miles of sun and moon are doubled and halved of base number 432, respectively. 432 is the only whole number that when squared comes within .01% of the Speed of Light). For these reasons and many others, Toys in the SanD tunes all their music to 432. Come feel the difference.
The Base is a gym by day that transforms into a world-class Music Venue by night, complete with state of the art stage, sound and lighting. It is a true experience. The Base is easy to get to with ample public parking lots within walking distance, just minutes away in Santa Barbara’s fast-growing Funk Zone.
