As climate warnings blare across the globe, why do humans continue the destructive behaviors that are causing the climate crisis? Why do we seem to be unable to pull together as a species and tackle this existential threat head-on? If we did, where would we start?

Join dynamic UC Santa Barbara Professor Ken Hiltner for a lively discussion as we try to unpack and understand the biggest problem and the obvious solution to the climate crisis -humans.

Registration is $10/person and includes a reception after Professor Hiltner’s talk. Local vegetarian food from Buena Onda & beverages provided. Remember to bring your reusable cup, straw, and utensils!
