Gaia Album Release Concert — Montino Bourbon, Joss Jaffe & Sudama

Join three beloved Santa Barbara musicians as they release a wonderful new record: Gaia.

The release concert will be a yogic sound healing journey – experiencing music surrounded by love. Held at the iconic Santa Barbara Yoga Center and featuring traditional instruments of ancient India and new original compositions by Montino Bourbon. The concert will feature segments of deep relaxation where the listener will be invited to take a savasana or other resting posture alternating with periods of movement activity.

Artist Bios:

Montino Bourbon is a master of the sound current. He is a lineage holder of Classical Indian music from the Beenkar Gharana and studied for 12 years with Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He has performed and taught in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He has conducted several trips to India researching the origins of Sacred Trance Music. His work with healing combines the ancient principles of Raga with contemporary instruments.

Joss Jaffe is a vocalist, tabla player and multi-instrumentalist. As a composer and producer he has created innovative and critically acclaimed albums such as Svara Mandala, Echoystem and Dub Mantra. Joss will accompany Montino on tablas, keyboards and percussion.

Sudama Mark Kennedy is a United Nations award winning intuitive healer, shaman and musician residing in California, with a gift for rapid and often instant pain removal, connecting audiences and clients to a deeper experience of Self.
