Royal Gala benefiting San Marcos High School to honor local sports figures Todd Rogers,
Dax Holdren, and Abe Jahadhmy
The event will include dinner under the stars, exciting live and silent auctions, our inaugural raffle, and of course plenty of dancing to work off your dessert, which will be provided by our own SMHS Culinary Academy,” said Jessica Ballonoff, the foundation’s new Executive Director and SMHS Alumna.
Space is limited, and tickets are available now. For more information and tickets, go to www.royalpridefoundation.org.
This year the Royal Gala will honor local sports figures Todd Rogers, Dax Holdren, and Abe Jahadhmy. Todd Rogers and Dax Holdren–once former teammates at SMHS–went on to highly successful professional beach volleyball careers; both players represented Team USA at the Olympics, and Rogers won the Olympic gold medal in 2008. Abe Jahadhmy is in his 32nd year at SMHS, currently serving as athletic director. Jahadhmy also previously served as athletic director at the Goleta Boys and Girls Club.
The Royal Gala supports programs at SMHS in academics, athletics, student services, arts & technology, and campus improvement. Event co-chairs Anna Rice and Barbara McWhirter add that, “This will be the premier party of the season, where hundreds of Royal parents, staff and alumni will gather together in support of San Marcos High.”
About The San Marcos High School Royal Pride Foundation: The Royal Pride Foundation raises money through community engagement and support to provide a exceptional learning environment for all SMHS students. RPF has invested over $3 million in SMHS since its inception. Royal Pride Foundation is certified 501(c)(3) organization; all donations are tax deductible. www.royalpridefoundation.org
