It’s Plastic Free July, and we’re ready!
Come to the Co-op throughout the month to refill your jars, bottles, and containers, and pick up new tips and tricks along the way.
Several of our workers are taking the Plastic Free July Challenge, and we’ll add to this event as we add more resources to our line up!
Stop by for these events:
DIY Herbal Salve Making with Artemisia Academy!
Zero Waste Tasting: Bulk It Up Saturday! and save 10% off all bulk foods!
Zero Waste Workshop: Homemade Wax Wraps and Produce Bags!
Are you taking the challenge? Comment in the event discussion on Facebook with your plastic-free shopping, living, meal, and other lifestyles ideas!
Did you know? We are solar-powered! 100 panels generate 33kw of the Co-op’s energy, enough to power 1/3 of our total energy use! We are also a proud partner of the SB County Compost Program, in sponsorship by Marborg. We’re the only grocery store where you can bring YOUR fruit and veggie scraps to a community bin.
