The Elwoods are from Goleta and play moody, gritty music, that can move both hearts and feet. Their last gig at The Mercury was sold out twice over, so get there early. Meanwhile, at 9pm, Josh Kass (who plays drums with Goldy) is opening. The Distractions will play second and highlight Todd Capps transported to a Police meets Clash eventuality on a ska infused Coventry soundstage in circa 2025. Todd and bandmates, Sean McCue (from Summercamp) and Austin on drums will be doing their thing for all to enjoy and deal with. Amazing night…do not miss it.
