Thomas Francis Murray

Thomas Francis Murray passed away suddenly on Nov. 1st, 2014 at the age of 84. He was born in Bird Island Minnesota on April 6th, 1930. A true Norwegian Irishman, he lived a full life of hard work, fun, adventure, humor, and laughter. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, he was always there to help those in need and support them in their endeavors. Tom moved to Center Avenue in Santa Barbara in November of 1943 at the age of 13. Tom is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn Murray, and his four children, Pamela Bateman, Thomas Murray Jr., Colleen Million, and Kimberly Sheetz. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends! In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully appreciates donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
