Stanford N. Kerr
Stanford Kerr died peacefully on August 16 after a brief illness. Born in Anaheim, he graduated from Anaheim High School and attended Occidental College before serving in the Navy as a supply officer. He taught elementary school at Gaviota and Carpinteria Schools and served as Superintendent-Principal of Montecito Union School for 25 years. He is survived by his son Jeffrey, his step-daughters Anna, Judy, Laura, and Katy, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A service will be held September 21 at 10:00 a.m. at All-Saints-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, 83 Eucalyptus Lane in Montecito. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Santa Barbara Scholarship Foundation.
