Harold “Skye” Hall Bass

May 30, 1939 – Feb. 22, 2012

For Skye every day was an opportunity to create art. His unique artwork includes painting, sculpture, pottery, bronze & wood pieces. Skye’s home was his art gallery, workshop and the center of many wonderful gatherings of friends & family.

He liked a simple life, loved nature, Hendry’s beach and watching basketball, especially the UNC Tarheels. Skye lived with Parkinson’s disease for over 34 years, but did not let it keep him from living his life doing what he loved.

Skye shared his life with his lifelong companion, Denise Munier, his brother Tony Bass of NC, family in the USA & France, and his close & loyal friends.

Contributions in Skye’s honor may be made to the Parkinsons Association of Santa Barbara.
