Maria Diana Rodrigues
November 15, 1959 – November 15, 2011
It is with great sadness that we report the loss of our regional advertising colleague, Maria Rodrigues, California Newspaper Publishers Association’s longtime Statewide Networks Manager. She passed away November 15th, after suffering a sudden and tragic adverse reaction to chemotherapy administered for her recently diagnosed breast cancer.
Maria is survived by her husband, Clement, and her daughter Annamarie (13), as well as a large and supportive family.
Maria was one of CNPA’s longest tenured employees, arriving at the association in September, 1989. With a terrific work ethic and superior organizational skills, Maria managed Cal-SCAN, Cal-SDAN, the Daily Classified Network, Banner Ad Network and other projects. Maria constantly helped her colleagues on myriad CNPA Projects. It was her way. Maria’s outstanding management of all these programs has been fundamental to CNPA’s success over the last two decades.
Maria turned 52 years old on November 15th. We appreciate her association with us and she will be greatly missed.
CNPA is establishing an educational trust account in Maria’s name for Annamarie. Visit www.CNPA.com for further information.
