David B. Goldman

David B. Goldman, a real estate developer, travel and food writer, author, died at sunset, his favorite time of day, March 17. He was 70.

David was a world traveler, ardent book collector and student of the poet, Robinson Jeffers. Among many of his passions he was a jazz aficionado.

David authored a well received book, Island Grinds, which reviewed “hole-in-the-wall” restaurants in the Hawaiian Islands.

He graduated from Laguna Beach High School, UCLA and the Thunderbird International School of Business.

David not only lived his life to the fullest, but also with no regrets.

He is survived by his wife, Shan O’Brien, his daughters Pamela and Wendy Goldman, his two step-sons, Che and Shane Hatchett, his sister Lois Robbins, and his aunt Ruth Ziegler, along with many other family members and friends.
