Six Arrested at Rocky Nook Park
A nightly search of Rocky Nook Park yielded six arrests, three weapons, and two small bags of cocaine, according to a Thursday press release from Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kelly Hoover. Around 9:30 p.m. last Monday, Sheriff’s deputies noticed apparently fresh graffiti on a picnic table at the 610 Mission Canyon Road park, where a group of six was hanging out.
Inside the park’s restroom, the deputies found a shoebox with a loaded .22 caliber revolver, a .380 semi-automatic pistol, and a glasses case the held 91 rounds of .22 ammunition and two small bags of cocaine. One of the guns was reported stolen from Oxnard, said Hoover in the press release. Authorities also found a folding knife in the weeds near the picnic table.
Three Santa Barbara residents — Alicia Visueta, 22, Anissa Arzate, 20, and Adrian Manriquez, 18 — were booked into County Jail on charges including criminal conspiracy, possessing drugs, and possessing a loaded gun, as well as a gang enhancement, according to Hoover.
Anthony Lopez, 24, of Oxnard and two 17-year-old juveniles were arrested on the same charges. Lopez was booked into County Jail, and the teens were booked into Santa Maria Juvenile Hall.
