Accident Closes Lanes on Highway 101

The regional California Highway Patrol office reported that a tractor trailer overturned in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 just north of the Milpas exit this afternoon, spilling oil in two of the lanes. As of 4:35 p.m., two lanes were affected, and a motorist reported heavy traffic. Some cars in the northbound lanes were struck by debris from the crash, said dispatchers, and minor injuries were reported.
