PUEBLO names new director

The social justice activism group PUEBLO finally hired a new executive director, Belen Seara, a native Argentine who most recently worked with the United Farm Workers in Bakersfield. She has conducted field studies in Latin America and Africa, and said she wants to transform the lives of low-income workers in Santa Barbara. Seara will be welcomed at a party at 721 Laguna Street on 12/6 from 5-7 p.m.
