Why I Like Trump
He Can Turn Things Around
I am a Trump supporter, and there are many reasons why, besides the terrible shape America is now in.
First, he has accomplished many things. Trump has employed people and has experience in international trade; he understands the impact tax laws and government regulations have on jobs and companies. He has worked complicated deals around the world and negotiated with governments, labor unions, and international financiers. These skills are not learned overnight.
Second, he has character. He is tough, has raised awesome children, and is brutally honest as opposed to being politically correct. As a result, we know where he stands. He is friends with employees, ex-employees, and ex-wives.
Third, he is successful. He has built many companies and turned around failed businesses. One of his companies declared chapter 11, or reorganization four times, before he saved it. Jobs were saved, creditors paid.
Fourth, Trump is a great negotiator. His book The Art of the Deal was an international bestseller. If things are going to be turned around, we need a president who can work with people with different views and who will renegotiate treaties and negotiate new trade agreements, putting America first.
Fifth, Trump is a nationalist, not a globalist. America comes first. Our politicians have failed to do this. Furthermore, he believes in enforcing our borders and laws. He believes it is not America’s job to be the world’s policeman and that countries defended by us should pay us.
Sixth, Trump is a great leader. He set the agenda for this election, which included immigration (illegal immigration + Middle East refugees), nationalism, and doing what is right for Americans. By doing so, he put a spot light on establishment politicians and a corrupt media.
Finally, and most important to me, he is not motivated by power and money, which he already has. He has a genuine love for America, the military, and regular folks.
In conclusion, Trump believes America is in trouble and at a turning point. He believes he has the experience and skills to turn things around. If he is elected president and accomplishes this, he will go down as one of our greatest presidents.
