Downtown Big Boxes

Dear Architectural Board of Review,

Concerning the project at 401 East Haley, you are ruining the charm and personality of Santa Barbara by erecting these boxes. They’re too tall and too maxed out to the property lines. They are architecturally out of place in the neighborhood you’re allowing them in.

The beautiful cluster of dimensionally appropriate style of buildings there is what gives this town its reputation and charm.

Pearl Chase would never approve.
