MARK OF SUCCESS: Originally from Riverside — the birthplace of the California citrus industry — Mark Hermann said goodbye to his Inland Empire roots after college and moved to cities with ocean views. In San Francisco, Orange County, and Los Angeles, Mark honed his knowledge and skills as a Web site and technology salesperson. He finally landed in S.B., where he’s resided for the past four years. Mark joined The Independent in December as a sales rep and so far is enjoying the job, and, he claims, his coworkers. His friendly, easy-going manner has been a great addition to the paper. Welcome!
