Featuring “Local Heroes” is inspiring for the entire community. These folks remind us of what can be found within all of us.
I was delighted to see Goleta’s George Thompson included. How he manages to do everything he does is amazing. He is as engaging as his smile in Ingrid Bostrom’s excellent portrait and has inspired many volunteers to work on our treasured open spaces.
