Why would the police department not love Sears as a great location?
Lots of free parking, especially for those paying tickets who got tickets while trying to pay tickets they’d received trying to get into the current police station.
You would have food places that are convenient.
Downtown is already too crowded, no matter where you put it. Plus, you lose the instant access to the freeways in both directions that you have at La Cumbre.
