Aerial Dance Conservatory
The S.B. Centre for Aerial Dance will immerse students in performance development of floor-to-air movement. Students will participate in a comprehensive and high-energy pedagogy of skill and technical development on trapeze, lyra, fabrics, corde, and sling. Students will also practice creative development in choreography and contemporary movement. Each one-week intensive will culminate in a full-length ensemble performance for the community.

Apples to Zucchini Cooking School

For the third year in a row, Santa Barbara Film Camp is offering its week-long production camp where groups of 7-10 kids (split in groups; ages 10-13 and 13-16) will team up to craft one short film throughout the week, taking on different roles such as director, producer, cinematographer, editor, etc., and working with high quality camera equipment, lenses, and sound gear. The S.B. International Film Festival’s new four-week production program is designed for students entering their senior year and applying to film schools. Students will receive instruction on what schools look for and then write and create their own shorts. Teen Arts Mentorship
This program offers in-depth arts enrichment for aspiring visual arts and writing students who are seriously considering pursuing advanced study and careers in art, performance, and literature. Work in small groups with a professional artist to produce portfolio-quality work, learn presentation and exhibition techniques, and explore career opportunities with artists and writers from the community. This summer’s classes are Printmaking, Large Scale Abstract Painting, 3D Painting, Collage/Drawing, and Watercolor Painting.

Through The Lens Summer Camp

Apples to Zucchini Cooking School
Your child is invited to enjoy chopping, slicing, measuring, and stirring to create several yummy dishes alongside educators and skilled volunteers. Students will work in small groups to prepare and then share meals together at lunch time, followed by afternoon field trips focused on culinary fun.
