On Wednesday morning at about 9:25 a.m., a 59-year-old inmate in the County Jail was pronounced dead shortly after he was found unresponsive and not breathing by jail deputies in his single occupancy cell. County and AMR (American Medical Response) personnel responded to the scene; all attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
