This weekend, the Earl Warren Showgrounds plays host to the 70th Annual Santa Barbara International Orchid Fair, a three-day plant and gardening show that has become the venue’s calling card.
Last weekend, though, the space was inhabited by a very different crowd. Namely, a few hundred youngsters clamoring to party with NYC rapper A$AP Ferg and Oakland rapper/producer G-Eazy. The show was sold-out and, by all accounts, a ridiculous, jam-packed good time, proving once again that Earl Warren may be Santa Barbara’s last hope for a viable hip-hop venue.
