Old Town Stabbing Suspects Charged
Charges of assault with a deadly weapon were lodged against Mario Flores, 19, Luis Gonzales-Guerrero, 21, and Bryan Ulloa, 20, in connection with a stabbing on November 21 at Orange Avenue and Mandarin Drive in Old Town Goleta. Sheriff’s deputies had been searching for the perpetrators since the incident, and found Flores and Gonzales-Guerrero at their home, located at the stabbing location, and Ulloa in County Jail, where he was being held on an unrelated charge. The three were also charged with inflicting great bodily injury during a felony and a criminal street gang enhancement. The victim, in his twenties, was transported to the hospital at the time and is recovering.
