A 20,800-square-foot industrial building in Goleta currently occupied by FLIR recently sold for more than $2.8 million.
The facility, at 5756 Thornwood Drive between Fairview Avenue and Highway 217, was purchased by Richard and Candice Doolittle — real estate investors who own a heating and air-conditioning business — from longtime owners Parrish Trust, James Knight, and Alcor Enterprises.
Broker Bob Tuler, who represented the Doolittles in the deal, said they plan on putting the building on the market next month and will seek one tenant. Broker Greg Bartholomew, who represented the sellers, said FLIR — which won’t vacate until the end of 2015 — is consolidating its five Goleta offices into one on Hollister Avenue.
