Wells Fargo opened its fourth Santa Barbara location this week with a new branch at the old Blockbuster store at 101 North Milpas Street. It’ll be open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to a company statement, the location will be staffed with “private and premier bankers designated to work with affluent customers on managing complex portfolios.” It will also have a business specialist on-site to work with customers looking to grow their businesses via payroll services, lines and loans, and equipment financing.
Wells Fargo, which signed the lease for the 2,600-square-foot space in July, noted its new LEED-certified building was built with sustainably grown and harvested wood and features a light harvesting system that cuts energy use by automatically adjusting indoor lighting for maximum use of available daylight.
Headquartered in San Francisco, Wells Fargo has $1.6 trillion in assets, and it operates more than 9,000 locations and 12,500 ATMs.
