Arts & Letters Cafe

The owners of Arts & Letters Café — a downtown fixture for 20 years — announced on Wednesday that they are selling the building at 7 East Anapamu Street but will continue to operate the Sullivan Goss gallery next door. Until the building is sold, the restaurant will stay open.

In a prepared statement, founders Tricia Goss (who has retired) and Frank Goss (who will continue running the gallery) said that they “look forward to enjoying a somewhat quieter life” with this move. The change will also allow Frank Goss and the gallery curators to “devote more resources to a smaller exhibition schedule” and “devote more time to client collection-building and career development” for the artists.
