At the last show of their most recent tour, Los Angeles-based Dawes played for nearly two hours, with a setlist that included ten brand new, unrecorded songs. The band’s lineup includes brothers Taylor Goldsmith (guitar/vocals) and Griffin Goldsmith (drums), Wylie Gelber (bass) and Tay Straitharn (keys). Thursday night’s show took place as part of the New Noise Music Festival and Conference, taking place throughout downtown Santa Barbara 10/15-10/19. This performance brought the band to a comparatively smaller stage; they last played in Santa Barbara in December 2013 at the Lobero Theater.
