Chef Luca Crestanelli Creates a “Family” Style Menu You Can’t Refuse

WHAT: S.Y. KITCHEN, the restaurant of modern Italian cuisine in Santa Ynez, presents “Godfather Night,” a special “Family” dinner on Tuesday, April 1st inspired by our Italian-American immigrant tradition. For one night only, S.Y. KITCHEN will be transformed into an Italian eatery of the past, complete with red checkered tablecloths and raffia wrapped Chianti wine bottles with candles. Chef Luca begins with platters to share of Insalata Caprese, Marinated Olives, Carciofi alla Giudea, Melanzane alla Parmigiana, Polpette al Sugo. The main course follows with ample servings of Penne Pomodoro with Buffalo Mozzarella, Chicken Cacciatore, Peperonata and Cime di Rape served family style. Of course, desserts cannot be refused. The evening is complete with Sous Chef Francesco Crestanelli’s Ricotta Cheesecake and Chocolate Budino. Pricing for “Godfather Night” is $60 per guest, exclusive of beverages, taxes and gratuities.
