The Goleta City Council voted 3-2 Tuesday to deny the proposed drive-through at the McDonald’s in the Camino Real Marketplace, upholding an appeal to the project filed by the Goodland Coalition. The Council’s hearing on the appeal in November was continued after some councilmembers asked the restaurant’s developers to revise the project to better address traffic concerns about the drive-through causing traffic congestion; the revision wasn’t enough to ease the worries of Jim Farr, Paula Perotte, and Ed Easton, who voted against it.
