Healing ACA’s Reputation

My husband and I received a notice in November to inform us that our health-care plan was cancelled due to the Affordable Care Act. After trying and failing to log on to the Covered California website, we found an insurance agent who came to our home, explained the options, and signed us up quickly and efficiently.

The Affordable Care Act enables us to pay lower rates for a plan with better coverage, and as a family of small-business owners, we are able to continue along our entrepreneurial path with more financial security. Republicans would like us to believe that Obamacare is bad for small business, but it is exactly the opposite for this family of small-business owners.
