If you’re not doing much today I urge you to visit the library as soon as possible.
We have reached a new low in the maintenance issues regarding the crumbling infrastructure. The groundskeepers have left the water on all day and night. Maybe they believe this will keep the homeless off the lawn. If so, the homeless will then move themselves to State.
The excessive watering costs us dearly. It is stunting the growth of the grass root, leaving the lawn looking like mud hole. If you look closely along the foundations around the planted trees, you’ll see the cement has cracked and begun to separate enough that the water meant for the shrubbery is running out. All that water is running like a stream down towards La Arcada and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, where it will create even further damage.
A small fire was started by a cigarette in the trash can nearest the entrance. The fire was extinguished, but nobody bothered to clean up the mess.
Please help!
