This year the committee is excited to broaden the annual Quick Draw; allowing for more local artists to gain exposure and sell their work. The Artwalk and the Silent Auction are open to all artist who create original, handmade art (no mass-produced items, imports or kits will be considered) and each medium will be limited to ensure a well-balanced and attractive show. Artists wishing to be considered must complete an application(s) available on the event website: http://www.santaynezvalleyarts.com or by contacting info@santaynezvalleyarts.org, and submitting any required participation fees. Participants are selected on a first-come; first-served basis.
The Los Olivos Quick Draw and Artwalk is developing into a premier art festival destination for the Santa Ynez Valley. Beginning with a rare opportunity to step into a “virtual studio” and observe 22 talented featured artists as they work to complete original pieces within 60-minutes, there will be a variety of artist and artisan booths selling unique items in the afternoon. In addition, a silent auction, live music, delicious food, demonstrations, and a special VIP reception where guests can chat with featured artists and enjoy a tasty selection of appetizers, catered by Tamara’s Catering, and local wines in the beautiful shaded courtyard of St. Mark’s In-The-Valley Episcopal Church will be offered.
