They’re baaaaack! Yep, it’s roller derby season once again, and Santa Barbara’s own Brawlin’ Betties will chew up and spit out their first opponent — the Inland Empire Derby Divas — this weekend. According to their website, “Every Brawlin’ Bettie is an athlete, a pin-up girl, a rocker, and a brute rolled into one badass derby girl.” Watch these Betties roller skate round the rink, wreaking havoc. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and the game starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at Earl Warren Showgrounds, 3400 Calle Real.
