’Tis the season to give shelter — to feral cats. County Animal Services has a preponderance of kitties that aren’t tame enough to be house pets but need homes nonetheless. The felines are all too willing to work for their room and board; they are some of the best mousers around. Homes with some shelter, such as a barn or warehouse, would be ideal for these critters. All the cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Although feral cats are accustomed to fending for themselves, adopters must provide them with daily food and water.
