With rain in the forecast, Trinity Episcopal Church at 1500 State Street will open its doors Thursday night to Santa Barbara homeless, part of the Freedom Warming Centers program that was activated earlier this month. The church will be open from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and it hosted the homeless Wednesday night as well. Warming center locations change on a day-to-day basis, so to find out where the next center will be, call (805) 324-2372 or check this paper. The program, initiated during periods of inclement weather, will run until the end of March.
