Día de los Muertos — the Day of the Dead. Not your standard theme for a dinner party, but then, the Contemporary Arts Forum (CAF) doesn’t deal in standard anything. And CAF’s Crave dinner party series is no exception: Designed to deliver a “full-sensory art, food, and social experience,” Friday’s event will feature artistic — and culinary — interpretation of the theme, as imagined by artist Maria Rendón and Arlington Tavern chef and owner Ron True. Expect art installations, readings, and music, as well as a four-course dinner that plays on the themes of birth and rebirth, sacrifice, and the juxtaposition of good and evil. Pali Wines will play sommelier during dinner, while a mezcal shot will get things started. Deadly, indeed
