Santa Barbara High School’s gleaming new state-of-the-art cafeteria was unveiled in a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday. The facility — financed by bond Measure Q funds for a total amount of about $4 million — will not only be used to prepare scratch-cooked meals for the high school, La Cuesta High School, and Roosevelt Elementary School, but it will also serve as the home to a Culinary Academy that will feed into City College’s Culinary Arts program.
