A 99¢ Only Store is opening July 26 in the old location of Pep Boys at 424 State Street. The store, according to a company press release, expects to receive 200-300 shoppers at the 8 a.m. opening where early birds may have a chance to buy a 22” flat screen TV for 99¢.
The chain, the release goes on, sells brand name products at discount prices including food and beverages. Like most 99¢ stores, not all items for purchase will only cost you the advertised 99¢, but the store does promise “exceptional values” for everything from food to beauty products.
The chain has over 298 stores in California, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. More than two-thirds of them are in California.
