“The Garden’s success is due to the generosity and the support of our members,” says Dr. Steve Windhager, Executive Director of the Garden. “The revenue generated from our Members is essential to pay for the daily operations in the Garden, as well as ensuring the conservation of some of California’s most imperiled native plants,” he adds.
The drawing will take place on Tuesday, June 5th. Memberships can be purchased by calling: (805) 682-4726 ext. 110 or by going online at www.sbbg.org. To purchase online, visit www.sbbg.org and click on “Support the Garden,” and then “Membership,” and complete the online application.
The launch of the Garden’s membership drive will coincide with the city’s Earth Day Festival at Alameda Park, where the Garden will have a booth. Memberships will be available for purchase at the booth. Those who buy memberships before July 1 will receive an additional 25% off the cost of the Garden’s Camp Wildflower for children ages 7-11 the week of July 16th – 20th.
