Springtime not only signals wildflowers and lovely weather; it’s also when many a closet gets cleaned out — and Deckers couldn’t be happier about that. The Goleta-based footwear company is looking to collect 10,000 pairs of shoes (new or used) to donate to Soles4Souls, the international nonprofit that provides footwear to those in need around the world. Since partnering with Soles4Souls in 2007, Deckers has donated more than 200,000 pairs of shoes for the nonprofit. The shoe drive runs until April 25; drop-off points include Deckers headquarters, Canary Hotel, S.B. Zoo, S.B. Museum of Natural History, Ty Warner Sea Center, REI, Yardi Systems, UCSB’s Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, Citrix, Four Seasons Biltmore, S.B.
