This new Santa Barbara-based nonprofit organization was recently launched to educate both the general public and the medical community about this little-known, serious neurological disorder.
Uriarte is currently an Independent Representative of Green Opportunities Energy Solutions (GOES), Yoli Better Body, and Wake Up Now. She has over 15 years of accounting experience and teaches basic MS Office skills to small business owners. Uriarte also translates business documents from English to Spanish and will be spearheading the ICA’s efforts in reaching out to the underserved Latino community. Uriarte has a BA in Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Certificate in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies from Oxnard College. “Norma’s language and business skills are a great asset to the ICA, especially in Spanish-speaking communities and countries,” said ICA Founder and President Pete Dal Bello, who has known her since high school. “Her global interests will help the ICA not only in this country, but abroad as well.”
Uriarte was born and raised in Santa Barbara, is a graduate of Santa Barbara High School, and currently lives in Oxnard, CA.
