The Santa Barbara Region Chamber of Commerce will host a members’ appreciation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on October 26 at the Wine Cask Tasting Room, 813 Anacapa Street, to celebrate the launch of “Santa Barbara First,” a campaign to encourage patronage of South Coast merchants.
Wine Cask partner Doug Margerum has produced wine for more than 10 years. The Margerum Wine Co. makes sauvignon blanc, syrah, and a Rhone blend.
“What better way to highlight the local merchants and products of Santa Barbara than by featuring some of our fabulous local wineries?” said chamber Ambassador President James Terry.
If a nonmember joins the chamber prior to the event, admission to the wine tasting will be complimentary.
Tickets to the event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Contact the Santa Barbara Chamber to purchase tickets at (805) 965-3023.
